A story of the new

This painting is about smoking a new born baby at a place near Docker River, looking towards Kata Tjuta in the east. We use puti [senna artemisioides or cassia] – that plant you see all through here. It makes good smoke! This is to keep the baby safe – no water – just smoke first.
